AUTOANTIBODIES IN gMG
gMG is caused by pathogenic immunoglobulin G (IgG) autoantibodies that
target components of the neuromuscular junction (NMJ). The two main
types of autoantibodies target either acetylcholine receptors (AChR) or
muscle-specific kinase (MuSK).17-20
